Winter can be a challenging time of the year for an location photographer but this year it’s been particularly difficult. The most beautiful light can be found in the Winter and it’s a real shame that all but the hardiest of clients tend to go to ground until the Spring. If you’re willing to wrap up this can be a really magical time of the year for a family shoot so when the clouds finally cleared last week I was a very happy bunny, the snow was just the icing on the cake! Findlay’s session has been a long time coming. We’ve had to reschedule a few times but when we finally got to do the shoot we were rewarded this wonderful scene at Blackford Hill which is one of the family’s favourite spots. It was a wee bit chilly for a little one so we didn’t stay out for too long and retreated back to the flat to read a bit of Findlay’s favourite Gruffalo while we warmed up. I think it was worth the wait!
