Julia & Benny | Castleton Farm -

Julia & Benny were married in September at the wonderful Castleton Farm in East Lothian which is perched in an incredibly scenic spot on the cliff tops next to Tantallon Castle, overlooking Bass Rock. It’s a stunning location and Jo the team at Castleton Events are great. Julia got ready at her parent’s house in North Berwick then headed to the ceremony at Whitekirk church in her Dad’s fabulous vintage VW camper which was quite the showstopper! After the ceremony we stopped off Tantallon Castle for some pics with Julia & Benny before heading to the reception.

It was a really beautiful day with a botanical theme, full of personal touches from the beautiful flowers that were the work of Bride of Honour Ellen and the lovely cake, decorated with pressed flowers made by Julia’s talented Mum Diana to the favours that were handmade by Julia & Diana. Julia and Benny wanted the day to be relaxed, outdoorsy and magical and I think they pulled it off beautifully.

It was also a really fun day with lots of laughs, the comedy timing award goes to Julia who was so excited to get into the church that she forgot her poor Dad and I had ALOT of fun taking the shot of all of the guests. Let’s just say it involved a forklift truck and a head for heights!!

I loved this wedding. A gorgeous ( and lovely!) couple, an absolutely stunning location, cooperative weather, fun guests, some very cute kids and a super cool camper van all made for one very special day.
