Katie & Ryan | Edinburgh City Chambers
A summer wedding at the City Chambers and Cannonball restaurant & bar Edinburgh
Katie & Ryan were married on a beautiful July day in the heart of the city, choosing the elegant European Room at City Chambers for their ceremony. Bathed in natural light and full of classic charm, the space set the perfect scene for a celebration that felt both timeless and wonderfully relaxed.
From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was joyful and easy going. Katie and Ryan exchanged their vows, surrounded by family and friends who had travelled to be part of their day. After the ceremony, we took a relaxed stroll through Edinburgh’s Old Town, which sits right on the doorstep of the City Chambers which is perfectly positioned in the heart of the iconic Royal Mile. This is one of the biggest perks of a City Chambers wedding, within moments you’re surrounded by historic closes, cobbled streets, and postcard perfect backdrops. It was the ideal time for bride and groom portraits, with Katie and Ryan enjoying a quiet moment together while the city carried on around them. From winding alleyways to dramatic architecture, the Old Town offers some of the most atmospheric wedding photography locations in Edinburgh, and the July’s sunshine brought everything beautifully to life.
After our walk, we made our way up the Royal Mile to Cannonball, perched at the very top next to Edinburgh Castle. The venue offered a warm, welcoming atmosphere and incredible views, making it an ideal spot to continue the celebrations. Over great food, drinks, and lots of laughter, Katie and Ryan’s day unfolded exactly as they’d hope, fun, relaxed, and full of love.
