Sharon & Martin | Ravensheugh Cabin

A colourful, laid-back spring wedding at Ravensheugh Cabin in East Lothian.

Perched above the sands of Tyninghame beach, this very cool coastal hideaway was the perfect setting for a celebration that felt relaxed, joyful, and full of personality. The day began wrapped in a classic east coast haar, the sea fog lifting just in time for Sharon and Martin to exchange their vows. As the sun appeared, Ravensheugh’s outdoor ceremony space truly came into its own, with uninterrupted views across the beach and towards the iconic Bass Rock. The sound of the sea and the open skies made the ceremony feel intimate yet expansive, with nature at the heart of it all.

Sharon and Martin leaned into colour with a playful, spring palette that enhanced rather than competed with the landscape. Vibrant florals, relaxed styling, and thoughtful details perfectly complemented the cabin’s rustic aesthetic, creating a day that felt effortless and unfussy.

Tucked into the dunes, Ravensheugh Cabin is a truly unique and special venue. Guests drifted between the cabin, the ceremony space, and the shoreline, soaking up the views. With golden light over the beach and Bass Rock standing proud on the horizon, it was a celebration that was unpretentious, joyful, and deeply connected to its surroundings.
