Studio Heim

A Brand Shoot with Interior Design Studio Heim

I recently had the pleasure of working with Studio Heim, a West Lothian based interior design studio, on a brand photography session. Spending the morning with Design Director Kate Allamby and her talented team was an absolute joy. The session even included their beloved four-legged team members, who added a fun and personal touch to the shoot!

From the creative workspace to the collaborative energy of the team, the shoot was designed to reflect the personality, style, and expertise of the studio. Whether Kate was reviewing mood boards, working on designs, or interacting with her team, the images capture the authentic, professional, and approachable side of Studio Heim. The light-filled spaces, carefully curated furnishings, and the mix of textures and design elements all provide a visual representation of their work and ethos. Capturing these details gives potential clients and collaborators a sense of the studio’s style and approach, and creates a cohesive visual identity for Studio Heim’s brand.

One of the highlights of the day was the relaxed, informal approach we took. Brand photography doesn’t have to be stiff or overly posed, the best images are the ones that feel natural and reflect the team’s dynamic. Having a relaxed atmosphere allowed me to capture candid interactions, playful moments with the dogs, and genuine collaboration between team members, giving the images warmth and authenticity.

By the end of the shoot, Studio Heim had a collection of versatile, beautiful images that highlight their team, their space, and their approach to interior design. From detailed shots of materials and workspaces to dynamic portraits of Kate and her team, the photos tell the story of a creative, collaborative, and approachable interior design studio in West Lothian.

If this feels like the right fit, I’d love to hear from you.
